411 Seniors Centre Society is a Vancouver-based non-profit organization that empowers older adults through information, advocacy, peer support, education, and community programs. For over 40 years, it has helped seniors stay informed, connected, and independent.
The Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon is the only province-wide charity providing community-based programs and services for people living with dementia, their care partners and the public.
Working in communities throughout the province and Yukon, we provide vital programs and services, including First Link® dementia supports that offer early and ongoing access to information, education and support for people impacted by dementia.
Our mission is to promote and support a health services system that improves and sustains the health and well- being of residents of rural communities across British Columbia.Â
Vancouver Cycling Without Age Society (VCWAS), founded in 2018, is a registered charity and volunteer-powered organization that takes seniors and their friends and family for recreational bike rides on trishaws (three-wheeled bicycles).Â


A compassionate, community-based Social Prescribing society offering the Nav-CARE and Community Connector programs, which help adults living with declining health, social isolation or increased frailty by providing social, emotional, and practical support.

MOSAIC is a CARF-accredited, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting immigrants in their settlement and integration into Canadian society. Since 1976, MOSAIC has delivered multilingual programs and services that respond to the evolving needs of diverse communities across Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Through its Seniors Club and healthy aging initiatives, MOSAIC supports immigrant and multilingual older adults to reduce social isolation, promote health and well-being, and age with dignity in their communities.



West End Seniors’ Network became an incorporated society in BC in October 1982, and has been a registered charity since July 1984. Currently, there are over 1000 members of the Network, 22 paid staff members and more than 300 active volunteers who contribute over 21,200 hours a year. The West End Seniors’ Network currently operates from three different locations. In Denman Place Mall, we run a thrift boutique, Clothes and Collectibles, and an Information and Referral centre, Kay’s Place.
